I am a Google addict (if there is such thing). Yep, I google everything and I do mean everything. I like to call it ..hmm errr. educating myself? Well I am in some way. The stuff I came across varied from the shocking to the amusing one and to those blogs that opened my eyes to those things I have taken for granted. And this is the stuff that made me feel so rugi sangat-sangat but at least it is not too late. I am still searching for answers until now. But, one thing I learn from this one is that I would never take things for granted. There are somethings that you have to find and seek answer yourself despite it was ingrained since childhood.
Anyway, back my googling. There are those I regretted clicking (stupid! stupid!). Images so horrid and shocking that they are actually permanently imprinted in my mind. Urgh (If only I can backspace my memory or totally reformat them, that would be awesome). There are those that actually bring tears and anger and sometimes a sense of failure.I think some my previous posts showed some of them.
And there are those that I stalk. Hahaha. Hey, who doesn't? And don't tell me you never google your name. Try it. It would be very interesting to say the least. I got a friend whom I asked to google his name and it ended up at some Russian Website for man looking for Russian woman to marry. Whoahaha. He even got his photo there (he posted it himself soon after his last divorce. Wah ada niat nak kawin orang Russia lagi!) That was hillarious, well for me atleast. But he was grateful to me though for that. He is some big honcho with lots of other business related publications on him in the web. I know, I know. I am that fab :P
Okay back to those blog that I stalked (I am not going to link them. I am their silent reader) They range from some individuals with great sense of humor, wealth and style without being a showoff. There are some of people I know from the past (not Bruneians of course. In fact I only have a few local bloggers that I like). It is nice to know what they have been up to and a few I am in contact now. So it is not all bad being a stalker on the internet.
But of course there are those I hate but can't help reading because it is just too juicy and oh well.. great to bitch about.
There are some blogs that impressed me with their intellegence and their commitments to certain issues.
Today I want to share one of them. It's Aididleaks. It's all about the Multi-Level-Marketing (MLM) or pyramid scams which I am sure a lot of us remember what happened years back in Brunei. The blog is a no hold barred writing on everything related to MLM from Amway to Monavie to Hai-O and AC Mizal Magnetic Bracelet. And his posts are very details with arguments and facts and came with discriminating evidence from photos, screen-shots to personal info from real name to IC number, address, place of work, etc) Crazy! I told you it was no hold bar! But then again, he was telling more or less facts. I guess that is why he has not been sued (and it was only recently, he put up his photo in the blog). Now, that's brave and I guess being responsible.
Back to these MLM's junks, I just dont understand why people can't see through the false claims and lies. The so-called miracle wonders that can cure everything from cancer to almost everything under the sun. Bullocks! They do not need rocket science to understand how such thing works. And some even dare to use various hadith and Quran verses just to prove their points or rather to entice gullible people to actually believe their sale pitch and hand over their hard-earned cash (sometimes life-savings) to buy these useless junks. But I guess, lots of people are gullible and plain lazy.Do have a read at the blog and share with others. And don't be shock with his language though but then again, may be that's the only way how to knock some sense to these die-hard MLM scammers.
